Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, and mobility.
- Providing care, companionship, and reassurance to the elderly.
- Reminding them to take medication according to the care plan.
- Caring for patients with chronic illnesses, mobility limitations, post-hospital recovery, and dementia/Alzheimer’s patients.
- Monitoring, observing, and recording physical and cognitive symptoms, and reporting any abnormalities immediately.
- Performing light household chores directly related to patient care.
Requirements
- Experience in caring for patients or the elderly (especially those with dementia or memory problems). Candidates with a healthcare background such as nurse, nursing assistant, or verifiable care experience will be given special consideration.
- Attitude and personality: Kind, compassionate, service-minded, responsible, and adheres to safety standards.
