3 Main Steps to Obtaining a U.S. GREEN CARD via EB-3 Unskilled

STEP 1: Labor Certification (LC)

Your U.S. employer applies for a Labor Certification from the Department of Labor (DOL). This confirms that there are no available U.S. workers for the position, allowing them to sponsor foreign labor.

STEP 2: I-140 Immigrant Petition

Once the LC is approved, we file the I-140 petition with USCIS to approve your right to claim a Green Card through that employer.

Average Processing Time: 4–6 months.

STEP 3: Visa Bulletin & Interview

When your Priority Date becomes current (according to the Visa Bulletin), you will enter the final stage:

• Adjustment of Status (I-485): If you are already in the U.S.
• Consular Processing (DS-260): If you are applying from abroad.
• After a successful interview, you will receive your visa and can fly to the U.S.
